“The City of Muskegon Community and Neighborhood Services Department is accepting proposals from licensed contractors for installation of vinyl siding in its 2010 – 2011 Vinyl Siding Program. Bids are requested from licensed contractors to install vinyl siding on residential homes beginning September 7, 2010 and ending when monies for the fiscal year are depleted (approximately 20 homes). Material will be supplied under separate contract. Bid packages may be picked up at Muskegon City Hall, 933 Terrace Street, 2nd Floor, room 201, Community and Neighborhood Services Department starting Monday, August 2, 2010. Bid packages will not be available after Friday August 6, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Sealed bids will be received in the Clerk’s Office, City Hall, Muskegon, Michigan until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.
You must also include the following in your sealed bid:
- Contractor must submit at least 3 references of former customers whose homes were sided by the contractor
- Copy of current Michigan Builders License
- Proof of Liability Insurance
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance
- Copy of EPA Licenses
- Copy of EPA Certification
